MALIBU WARRANTY & USA IMPORTS

Malibu Boats are built in Australia by Malibu Boats Pty Ltd, a wholly Australian owned company. They administer their own warranty on the boats they build, as Malibu Boats LLC (USA) administers their own. Once boats produced by Malibu Boats LLC are imported into Australia or New Zealand their warranties become void in both Australia and USA.

This policy has always been in place, but we don't want to see any more Malibu buyers deceived by unauthorized importers claiming that these boats are sold with full warranty AND LOCAL DEALER SUPPORT as they have none whatsoever!  In addition to having no warranty, it is highly likely that the trailer will be unregisterable in Australia due to over width issues, non compliance to Australian design rules (ADR) including lights, braking system, couplings, general construction and, are rarely galvinised so they will have a very short life span after just one dip into salt water!

Malibu Australia supports their product with a massive parts inventory and dealer network, it doesn’t make sense buying an orphan from an unauthorized dealer and be excluded from all this support.
