Boats manufactured in the USA by Malibu Boats and imported into Australia and/or New Zealand are void of any warranty in either country.

MALIBU WARRANTY & USA IMPORTS

Malibu Boats are built in Australia by Malibu Boats Pty Ltd, a wholly Australian owned company. They administer their own warranty on the boats they build, as Malibu Boats LLC (USA) administers their own. Once boats produced by Malibu Boats LLC are imported into Australia or New Zealand their warranties become void in both Australia and USA.

This policy has always been in place, but we don't want to see any more Malibu buyers deceived by unauthorized importers claiming that these boats are sold with full warranty as they have none whatsoever! In addition to having no warranty, it is highly likely that the trailer will be unregisterable in Australia due to over width issues, non compliance to Australian design rules (ADR) including lights, braking system, couplings, general construction and, are rarely galvinised so they will have a very short life span after just one dip into salt water!

Malibu Australia supports their product with a massive parts inventory and dealer network, it doesn’t make sense buying an orphan from an unauthorized dealer and be excluded from all this support.

Not only can every thick, foam-backed panel of textured 38oz G&T Marine Vinyl be custom colored, but you can also choose between seating configurations, dash set-ups and a fully carpeted interior or non-skid fiberglass floor with snap-out remnant. While the majority of our owners prefer the plush surroundings of a fully carpeted interior, those mainly in salt water environments like the versatility of a removable carpet. Malibu’s uniquely accommodating interior goes beyond customization with perfectly aligned French seams, the superior support of triple-density foam, Duraguard™ vinyl protection, hand-wrapped interior pieces and LED-illuminated Malibu emblems.







Construction

Malibu is a company driven by engineering, not marketing. We absorb feedback from all sources — our engineers, our people on the line, dealers taking delivery and families who own our boats — and take the feedback to heart, informing innovations and modifying our processes. As a result, at the end of the day we build a better boat.

  1. FibECS: Allows the engine to be through-bolted and the load dispersed over a greater area. Less vibration and quieter operation.
  2. PRECISION CNC: Signature pieces, demand Malibu employee excellence.
  3. GEL COATING: A 10-step ArmorCote gel coat process is backed with an exclusive, pure vinyl ester barrier coat and 3 oz. skin coat.
  4. CUSTOM FABRICATION: We weld the frames for each mold and fabricate the supporting structure for locking storage enclosures.
